Neue Ausgabe von Pharmeuropa

Es sind dies u. a. zwei Monographien über Drogen, zwei fette Öle und eine Monographie über ein homöopathisch verwendetes tierisches Ausgangsmaterial:

• Artichoke leaf (Cynarae scolymi folium)
• White horehound (Marrubii herba)
• Castor oil, virgin (Ricini oleum virginale)
• Safflower oil, refined (Carthamus oleum raffinatum)
• Honey bees for homoeopathic preparations (Apis mellifica ad praeparationes homoeopathicas)

Besonders hingewiesen wird auf den lange erwarteten Entwurf "3.2.1 Glass Containers for Pharmaceutical Use" (PA/PH/Exp. Glass/T [02] 1 ANP), der neben der Titrationsmethode nun auch die Flammenspektrometrie zulässt. Außerdem sind zwei allgemeine Methoden im Rahmen der internationalen Harmonisierung abgedruckt.

Eine aktuelle Auflistung der Substanzen, die über ein Zertifikat nach dem Zertifikatsystem des Europäischen Arzneibuchs verfügen, ist enthalten. Diese sind in zwei Gruppen aufgeteilt: Substanzen, die über ein Zertifikat für chemische Reinheit und mikrobiologische Qualität verfügen, und solche, die auf ihr TSE-Risiko hin geprüft wurden. Eine vollständige Liste ist zu Beginn jeden Jahres im Heft 1 von Pharmeuropa abgedruckt. In den folgenden Ausgaben von Pharmeuropa werden jeweils die neu vergebenen bzw. überarbeiteten Zertifikate angeführt: in diesem Fall für den Zeitraum 21. Februar 2002 bis 28. Mai 2002. Eine täglich aktualisierte Liste kann auf der Internetseite www.pheur.org aufgerufen werden.
