Neue Ausgabe von Pharmeuropa

Hierunter befindet sich u.a. ein Monographie-Entwurf Bearberry Leaf (Uvae ursi folium) sowie der Entwurf der allgemeinen Monographie "Tablets (Compressi)".

Die Broschüre enthält weiterhin eine Veröffentlichung "Pharmacopoeial monographs for plant extracts" von Dr.K. Helliwell (Mitglied des UK in der Expertengruppe 13B) als Reaktion auf den Artikel von Lang und Stumpf in Pharmeuropa 11, 268-275 (1999).

Besonders hingewiesen wird auf die zehn Monographie-Entwürfe über bestimmte Biologicals, bei denen der Pyrogentest durch den Bakterien-Endotoxin-Test ersetzt werden soll. Weiterhin ist eine aktuelle Auflistung (Stand: Oktober 1999, 22 Seiten) der Substanzen, die über ein Zertifikat nach dem Zertifikatsystem des Europäischen Arzneibuchs verfügen, enthalten.

Im Rahmen der Internationalen Harmonisierung wird der Entwurf "Polyethylene Glycol" sowie die allgemeine Methode "Isoelectric focusing" zur Diskussion gestellt. Informiert wird ferner über die Inhaltsverzeichnisse von Pharmacopoeial Forum (USP) Vol. 25, No. 3, May-June 1999, No. 4, July-August 1999 und No. 5, September-October 1999 sowie Japanese Pharmacopoeial Forum Vol. 8, No. 3, July 1999 und No. 4, October 1999.

Ab 1. Januar 2000 erscheint Pharmeuropa im Januar, April, Juli und Oktober des jeweiligen Jahres (anstelle von bisher März, Juni, September und Dezember).

Das Inhaltsverzeichnis von "Pharmeuropa" Vol. 11.4, December 1999, ist nachstehend abgedruckt. Stellungnahmen sollten bis 31.
